01 About Amelia Gammell Interior Design
Founded in 2023 whilst studying Residential Interior Design at KLC School of Design.
Amelia is a Surrey based interior designer who creates warm, comfortable and welcoming family homes. She takes pride in her fully immersive approach to each project in which she creates each family the home of their dreams.
With a passion for traditional styles, mixing old with new Amelia has worked on properties across London, Surrey and West Sussex to create a space each of her clients feels at home in. She brings a true understanding of the challenges of designing period homes and offers a fresh approach.
Amelia is based in her own period property project in Hook Heath in Surrey.

03 Our Approach
This is a step-by-step guide of my process to help demystify my role as interior designer
1 Our initial meeting will be a conversation to discuss your needs, explore how you use the space and look at the overall feeling of what you want from the space to create your dream home. This initial meeting plays a vital part of the design process for both the client and the designer and the details gathered will provide essential information for us to interpret into a design.
2 If you would then like to proceed we will then delve into layouts, spacial planning and creating colour charts and sample boards. These will be accompanied with 2D and 3D sketches and visuals based on your individual requirements.
3 Once designs are approved we are happy to assist in the procurement of Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment working with a variety of suppliers most appropriate to each clients price bracket.
4 As part of the final installation we can style your home as much or as little as you wish. This could involve everything from small decorative items through to lampshades and soft furnishing. We feel that incorporating clients personal items into the final design are what makes the space come together and clients feel at home.
